A note from Craig/Laz:

Hello, and thank you for taking time to explore my website. If we’ve met before, some of you will know me as Craig and others as Laz, depending on when and where we met, but we are, in fact, the same person.

Attending Pine Crest School in Ft. Lauderdale instilled in me the ability to write and gave me an appreciation for the writing process. I was a school teacher at all levels, from Elementary to High School, for 13 years, and I’ve worked for 36 years at summer camps, the last 20 spent as the Assistant Director at Camp Laurel South, working with young adults and communicating with parents constantly.

Over the years, I helped many of my friends organize, revise and edit papers for college and grad school. Recently, many of my friends shared with me the frustrations of trying to work with their children on college essays. I offered many of them my assistance and have worked with their children on these essays. The results have been great. I’ve had the chance to work on college, law school, grad school and scholarship essays. And now, these families have encouraged me to take this on as a full-time endeavor.

So here I am, turning this knowledge of writing and my passion for working with students, campers and their families into a new career.

My process involves working with students to take their ideas, their thoughts and their visions and turning them into a well-organized, cleverly-written essays that express themselves in a way they are proud of and their parents are pleased with.

I can’t promise what I do will guarantee college admissions, but the families I have worked with have been very pleased and the results have been terrific. I have asked some of the students I have worked with and some of the parents who have trusted me to provide testimonials which you can find on this website.

Our initial meeting is provided with no charge at all, as I want to make sure I can provide the assistance needed, and you want to make sure I am the right person to help with this process.

If you are looking for help with the entire college application process, I have friends that can assist with everything other than the essay writing, and I would be happy to make that introduction.

I look forward to speaking with you soon, and I sincerely hope I can take the stress out of the process for the students and their families. Whether it's general help with the writing process, specific writing assignments or application essays for private high schools, I would love to help students improve their writing in a stress-free way.
